On 14th November, 1914, the 2nd Royal West Surrey (Queens) battalion of 22 Brigade, 7th Division, marched to trenches at La Bouteillerie, near Fleurbaix, where they stayed for the rest of the month or in billets in Rue de Bataille or Rue de Biache. Alfred Clark died from wounds on 17th November but the exact date on which he was wounded is not known. |
